I offer personal stress management, resilience and wellbeing coaching for individuals who want to make their adrenaline work for them and de-stress without losing their edge. Personal coaching can help you discover how to:

  • recognise and manage pressure effectively, learn to switch off and renew your energy so you can head-off and combat stress
  • tame and harness your natural stress responses to optimise your capacity to deliver
  • build your resilience so you can respond positively to the challenges you face at work, at home, or in your social life

My approach to coaching is designed to enable you to:

  • Evaluate the professional, personal and social dimensions of your current experience as an integrated whole, to bring about a more holistic understanding of the demands you face and how these interact and influence your performance at work and the other people and things which matter to you
  • Identify and harness the personal strengths & resources you have to help you meet these demands
  • Create pragmatic solutions to immediate challenges so you can manage current pressures more effectively and learn practical techniques to help you de-stress and re-energise
  • Explore personal and professional development strategies to build the resilience which underpins sustainable performance and coping skills in a challenging work or home environment

An individual stress and/or resilience coaching programme would typically include:

  • Assessment of signature strengths and/or resilience profile
  • Identification of key challenges relating to sustaining and developing performance (including, in the case of stress, sources of excessive pressure)
  • Exploration of how strengths & personal sources of resilience can be deployed to address challenges
  • Discussion of tools and techniques to enable the individual to manage their stress response
  • Identification of other development needs
  • Formulation of strategies to meet these
  • 6 to 10 coaching meetings, anything from 2 to 6 weeks apart, depending on the stage/progress

Nutritional wellbeing

Your health and wellbeing are fundamental to sustainable performance at work and your ability to cope in challenging circumstances whether at work or in your personal life.  Personalised nutritional analysis and advice can be offered as an additional service to complement stress management and resilience coaching.  This can help you to:

  • Enhance energy levels so that you can maintain engagement and productivity when working in the pressure zone
  • Manage your activation states to reduce levels of stress hormones
  • Optimise physiological functioning to support digestive, immune and other aspects of health which can be affected by pressure and stress
